Quote - I made a light box and would like to make or find an inexpensive non-glare photo riser/sweep. For taking photos of small objects without shadows.  As for making one.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

I was told that I could go to the local glass shop and have a plexyglass/acrylic bent and cut to shape. But they can not guarantee that it will be glare or gloss free. Or distortion free.  I thought about just going to the local craft shop and paying for one of the non-glare glass pieces Then just proping it up on something. Not sure what at this Point.  But they are pretty expensive. Has anyone tried this yet?  If so, can you tell me how this worked out?

I have seen a few online but they are generally tripple digits and I don't see using it enough to get my money's worth out of it.  Plus like everyone else, I am on a budget. Keep in mind I am not a professional and will never be. I just don't spend enough time with photography to get there. But I do enjoy having fun with my camera.

I have been asked to take some photos of a friend's daughters trophys and awards that she has won at school.  I got some pretty nice photos but she would like a few with no shadows so she can use them in scrapbooking as elements.

Another thing I am trying to find instructions for is how to build my own portable background frame. I saw one a while ago but lost it before I could print it out. Now cannot find it. I find that using the 20 some inch light box I made. I can not get the backgrounds to stayput.  I tried tapeing to the back of the light box but mine have very little to tape to. And they always end up falling down. Plus cloth backgrounds are difficult to work with in my current setup.
