In Poser 7, one could make a Windows shortcut for an item from one runtime, and locate it in a folder in another runtime. The shortcut would load just like the original item. Short cuts take a lot less memory than all the files that might be associated with a specific item.
This also worked in Poser Pro "the first." Does it work in Poser 8?
