I agree. For Poser 5 and up, that would be an ideal solution from the user's point of view. Of course for D|S and other programs we'd still need a separate way to prepare the figure for injection.

There's a script by svdl called 'MorphFromOBJP6' which loads an obj file into Poser and creates a full body morph from the current figure from it. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks very complete. It creates INJ and REM files and even renders thumbnails automatically.
