My point was not about Andy as the content in the default scene.

My suspicion is that LL does not have the Poser 8 content installed/configured/pointing to correctly, period. Has nothing to do with the GUI. In other words, I'm wondering if the GUI is telling the truth - that isn't her Poser 8  Content runtime.

Just because Andy shows in the opening scene, means nothing. Suppose the script you ran to add external runtimes is broken, and added the default runtime using the wrong path. See what I mean? You may be pointing at the wrong folder. If you hover over it, it will show you the full path. Is that the right path?

Poser 8 has options to install the main runtime lots of different ways. Does the external runtime utility script that copied runtimes from older Poser installations respect and understand the one you used for Poser 8? I suspect it may not. That would explain why your external runtimes are fine, but your main runtime is not.

That's why I asked if Search finds the content? Search for Ryan. Search for Alyson. Search for Andy. If it finds those, but they don't show up in the Library tree, then you screwed up the main runtime pointer by using that utility.
