OMG!! GROSS!!! Do you have any idea how filthy and unhygienic those things are!? Back wash of saliva from everyone who drinks, not to mention those that actually stick their mouths right on the spout.
I've seen cleaning people use those things to rinse their mops.This was at a hospital too! I reported the person and they lost their job.
I've also seen a guy urinating in one at a local park!
When I was in nursing school my clinical group went around to various drinking fountains around the city and did bacteria growth tests. I've never drank from one again! There are bacteria on them that can make you really, really sick! And not surprising since apparently they are also used for bathing purposes. I sure wouldn't drink from something where someone just finished washing their ass!!!
