I am trying not to get frustrated, but I am getting there. I tried once again on the Security Section of Windows Control panel. I don't know why it didn't click before when I looked the first time, I suppose it was because I know I don't use Windows built in Firewall, but it said that a firewall was active. I clicked it and it said that Norton's Worm protection was active. I opened Norton, found the Worm protection and added Poser 8's exe as a permitted program. I rebooted the computer. Opened Poser 8, and the palette is still dead, dead, dead. I can't think of where to go next.
