Hi LL....well....from the looks of things, time for a little tradition vs tech humor.     You might be interested to know, I've worked XL Library hard today, loading ga-zillions of props and figures, and it's been working fine with no disappearing acts.   I've shut down numerous times, rebooted, done all sorts of things to try to make it misbehave, and so far it's working fine.  To tell you the truth, I have to say I like it better because it can remain minimized on the task bar when not in use, so it gives me more room for control dials where the Library would normally be....and because of the larger icons and the search feature, I'm even finding long lost props.   So....don't give up... this might work for you if all else fails.   After thinking it through, I just couldn't see relaxing all the security on my computer just to get a hard to read menu to show.   Hang in there, you're giving it a good run.
