I started with Poser 3 and no manual. I just clicked on stuff to see what it did and asked a lot of questions of people I saw in the forums. I also learned quite quickly by picking apart other artists pz3. Back then people would load full pz3 scene to the freestuff because we all were using Posette and Dork. Daz hadn't been born yet, it was still called Zygote, and Vickie hadn't come along yet. Actually I still learn best by picking apart a pz3 file. I can look at camera settings, lights. material settings....but it's rare to see someone give away a simple pz3 file. I'd like to pick apart one of bagginsbill's simple pz3s--look at the camera settings, light settings, render settings....
