This is one of the first internet sites I joined and I didn't really think about it too much. Since then, I always use an alias. As someone said above, employers now routinely do searches and maybe I'm paranoid but I worry thay anything you say about sex, religion, politics ect. could end up being a liability in that regard. Then of course, there's always the extremely remote possibility that some crazy may decide to hunt you down. Personally, I can't understand these folks who put their entire lives up on Facebook, Twitter every time they go to the bathroom and now use cellphone GPS to let people know where they are at every moment.
