Hi, There seems to have been a lot of interest in this subject of late.We would like to address a question brought up earlier in this thread, as well as some of the other queries we have recieved. DAZ does not condone the use of encoded .pcf files in the distribution of characters for Victoria 2. We believe that this practice would cause a lot of uneeded confusion on what can be encoded, and how it should be encoded, etc. Basically, geometry derived from Victoria 2 specific morphs should not be distributed in any form. PZ2 files are the best way to distribute characters created with Victoria 2 morphs; it's user friendly, it's a smaller file to distribute, it's completely safe to distribute and you don't have to worry about copyright issues, or encoding problems. We do allow distribution of 'Squished' or vertex-only mor phs for Victoria, but only if they meet two conditions: 1) they are based on the original Victoria geometry, 2) they contain only your original work. We describe more about combining squished morphs and PZ2 files in our FAQ. http://www.daz3d.com/pages/faq/faq.html We will also be addressing this in DAZ's Tech Tip for 7/23 with helpful hints and instructions on making a "DAZ Copyright Friendly" Character for distribution. Thanks, AnneMarie White DAZ Productions
