Sorry, yesterday was not a good day for me to be online. I set up a render and went and did other things. Have to do a grocery run today.

I have tried all these steps except the logging off and then logging on as Admin. I've even made sure that Poser and Flash has permission in Norton. The Library palette will show up under Firefox which is my primary browser. (Believe me, if I could uninstall and delete IE, I would!). I've only gotten the browser to appear under IE a couple of times, but it doesn't stick. I even made IE my default browser for a little bit and got the Library to appear under IE, except after reboot it was a no go. And yes, I've noticed that when the Library palette is showing under Firefox, the CPU usage skyrockets and kills available memory for big renders pretty quickly. There is a beta update for my video driver, but I've decided not to give that a go because I don't want my laptop to become scrambled eggs. The only thing that I've thought about doing is reinstalling the core program with Norton disabled. But I'm not really hopeful on that.  I have the XL library python script and that works to a degree for me.

I'm sure they thought this Flex thing would be great but for a few of us out here with odd configuratons, it's not a good idea. I still think they should have given us the option of installing the Classic Interface or the new Interface for Poser. But that's just me because the new isn't working for me. I think it was a mistake to marry Poser to anything having to do with IE. Maybe some serial update might resolve my issue without having to try to log off my computer. Logging off worries me because I can't recall if I had to create a password or not. I don't think that I did, but I'm not 100% sure.

I let P8 do a render yesterday while I was away from the computer. GI seems to really not like transmapped hair, and I'm going to have to switch from VSS with AO to the one without because the GI calculation pass took 3 hours. Oh, what came out the other end looked fab, but took six hours.
