I still think the difference between the 2 is quite significant which is really the reason for my op.Check this out though, lift up Alysons arm exposing her armpit and take a render, what is this ugly light shining through? Anybody else get that?
Well, you have one spotlight that's not casting any shadows. The armpit was probably supposed to be in the shadow, but since that spot is casting light there, it's bouncing around in it.
Golden rule: in reality, all lights cast shadows. If the lights in your poser scene ignore reality and don't cast shadows, there's nothing a render engine can do to create a realistic image from that.
