Subject: Anyone Heard Anything From Siggraph?

have you actually used Vue 7? :) have you used procedural meshes? You do know the terriane dtior can be larger than 256x256 resolution, hm?
And how do you know Ami can speak English as her primary  language?
Hell of a lof of folk here have English as their secondary langauge, so for them to be fluent in English as well is quite a remarkable skill when you think about it :)

She's a Vue user and a damn good one if you'd go look at her work, so she's not a "talking head sales face"
Public speaking is difficult, try it. Hence organizations have the choice between finding a user who's got reasonable oratory skills, or, a smooth proffessional speaker who knows nothing of the subject.
Siggraph as a whole seems ot use the former, as it's a setting for proffessionals who won't accept "models" telling them about technical areas the visitors are experts in.

For God's sake man, debate if you wish to, but stop sniping! :)
