She would be better off is she would use Windows XP Professional 64 bit. Vista 64 is sometimes when it's doing nothing already into 1GB of RAM, she would gain nothing with it.
She's already using Vista and Vista64 would allow P8 to use the full 32bit address space of 4GB, so she'd benefit from it.
