Technically, Poser 8 should still run, you just could not use the Library, but there are some third Party Products which you could use in place that I do not think require the Poser 8 Library for them to function.

I didn't see that it only is to work in XP or Vista. I guess that puts me out of the loop then. I had to revert to using Win2000. With all the hardware changes I tend to go through I just can't use XP with it's re-activations and Vista's addition of user data collection makes it even more unacceptable. Ehhh I guess I'll just shut up now. Sorry for being such a bother and thank you for all your patients in answering my questions. 

I don't suppose it can be made to run in Linux by chance? LOL.
