Don't know about that, haven't tried but it might help if the clothes has the morphs you are using.
What you do is the same as for the Apollo scale morphs, don't conform the clothes at all. Parent them and apply your pose to both Freak and his clothes. You may need to use the trans dials to position things more accurately.
