I am still topping out at 7 characters plus clothing. Of course my story needs 8 in this scene.
Still 7 seven characters EACH one outfitted is almost 21 figures and at that seems like a lot. Normally I'll have only a few characters in each scene but I need to defeat this as saving up for a more powerful Poser 8 (Why do I hear so many nightmares about stability) is months away.
msg24_7, thanks! I did as you said and actually it had the figures and their clothing line up a little easier as I imported them in. What this did was make it easier to hide figures as I progressed in layers rendering.
Right now It goes like this. Put ALL characters and props in the scene. Check angles. And then render without backgrounds. I'm not using shadows so this will work. BUT when I do use shadows with Ambient Occlusion I will have to do the scenes with only a few characters.
Thanks you all for your help!
The scene below that I decided not use but it shows 7 characters, outfitted, no second skins but for accuracy sake even the girl you can barely see is wearing boots and a training suit. Also the girl with the glasses is using hair that is a figure. To save even more memory, I changed ALL other hair to hair props. So actually, I have 8 figures, 7 figures as suits, the glasses girl is also wearing 4 figures (shirt, skirt, socks and shoes), so really I am rendering 20 figures.
Is that good?
Hmm, I just tried to upload the Tif file. It didn't work!!!! Must be bedtime on the west coast of california.
