In IE you should see some XML. In other browsers, it may show a blank page, in which case View Source should show some XML.
If, instead you get this: (click for full size)
Then do this:
In Internet Explorer, choose Tools->Internet Options.
Click the Connections tab.
Click the LAN Settings button.
Uncheck the "Automatically detect settings" box, click OK and then click OK. Then retry loading the link.
If that works, restart Poser. You will proably see the library.
I don't believe it, but this fixed the problem!!!!!!! The Library is now working inside Poser 8! I tried a restart to see if it continued to work and it does! This was my problem. I had gone through and done everything else listed by the tech. I had even gone into Norton and made sure that Poser was a permitted program. This has solved the problem for me.
