I know this is not a topic for tutorials, but I got the last in the Ansel Adams 'how' books today at the library--this one is on prints. I particularly wanted to read it to see what translated--and how--to the 'digital darkroom'. His whole process of burning and dodging was very interesting to me--plus 'bleaching', etc. I'e known the basics, but never developed my own. There are a number of pros and exceptional amateurs who talk about moving away from the darkroom because of the costs, the time and the toxic chemicals. I'd love to see some comparisons of what you can do in a normal darkroom and how it translates to digital. Also got a wonderful new book (2000--also from library)) on b/w--showcase type book. Lots of inspiration there.
