this is what happens when you use third party software as an integral part of another app.
my only bugbear with DS3A and all versions prior is that it relies on MS's C++ Runtime to work.
it works for the majority, but those it does not work for have to put up with faffing around with their entire library of user alterable settings, sometimes to no avail.
i fear these problems will become far commoner as software houses try to cut costs by purchasing 'over the counter'  code to do a job, instead of employing programmers to write and develop the code that would work best with their new apps.

BB seems to have done a great job of his part of the new version, but think how much he could have done if he had access to the core code of Poser. he would have been able to see exactly how his coding interacted with the core code of the app.
