That would CERTAINLY cut down the costs 

It is apparently hard for people to get the ida of components.

If something is already an integrated part of for instance Windows, WHY in the world should any company waste time and money in maiking their own version. 

It's like demanding that Poser should invent its own scripting language rather than use Python.
