Ok mea culpa. I'm sorry I said Poser 8 has not been tested. But still to have to go into my pc and mess with a zillion settings and all.

I have not had any problems with other software packages I have installed on my pc. Everything installed and worked no problem the first time and I have been working with pc's etc for like 10 years now. It helps to have windows update on to auto install upgrades to windows drivers etc.
But this. Blah.

Why use IE as a needed part to get the library in Poser 8 to display right. (If it does not need IE ok remove foot from mouth) In Europe there was something about having windows sold without IE installed so people could choose the browser they wanted. Would Poser 8 run on those machines or would they be forced to install something they will never use. I for one use Firefox all the time. I do not want to mess with IE at all.

I'm not trying to be a bitch. But it's very fustrating not to have something work right out of the box when you have shelled out a large sum of money for it. More so given the state of the economy right now  when I have to watch where every penny goes.  I can't afford to spend a lot of time for that reason and others messing around with obscure settings in my pc to get Poser 8 to work right or any other software package for that matter.
