building by components is great, but all components and their tolerances MUST be built from the same masterplan of the proposed product to integrate into the whole as a finished product.
you would not fit a Honda Civic head to a Ford Taurus engine and expect it to run properly if at all, would you?
the same principle applies to software.
a library, in effect, is a database. not an internet browser .
correct me if i'm wrong, but Python has been practically a full part of Poser from early days, so would be easy to update by people who have full access to the code of Poser itself.
integrating code from an application that is totally different must have been a nightmare for anyone who did it, especially when they had no access to the core code of the product they were trying to get it to work with.
besides, Python is a scripting language, not an application( program)
btw did i have a go at anyone or any particular company? no.
i just made a general comment, not aimed at any program or person or company.
so there really was no reason to come back with a snide and totally uncalled for tone.
