Subject: To Vue or Pose

Now I have a problem. Limited funds but enough to buy an upgrade.
Poser 8 or Vue 7 Studio ..
Poser 8 $129
Vue 7 $99    hmmmmmmmmmmm

I like the Vue. Not sure about the Pose.

The Answer to that is another question, Which program do you use to render the most? Upgrade that one.

Windows 7 64Bit
Poser Pro 2010 SR1

The bigger question is do you need to upgrade? If you're happy with both applications as they are right now, you can save the money on an upgrade and spent it on something else.

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....

if you render mostly in Vue then you can quite happily stick to Poser 7 as I have

The really major reason to look at Poser 8 is the improvements to the renderer, both in much better multi-processing and in Indirect Lighting (basically Global Illumination).  If you render very much in Poser then it's a pretty big upgrade.
