In academic circles the accusation of plagiarism is avoided by attribution. One credits the source. For instance, I wish that the promotional pictures of products attributed the source of things not included in the product (including poses) and at least the site where those products can be found.

You could also sign your contributions with your forum name and an "(A.K.A. – nyguy)"

I am no lawyer, but yes, you can actually plagiarize yourself. If you produce work under a contract so that the work belongs to someone else, you have not right (unless stipulated in the contract) to use that work.
