It intrigues me that the web could hold so much moisture so easily (though I know they are very strong) and such large drops. And then small drops, like little pearls or crystals, line up one after the other down the very long thin line. I have, in the past, stood for long periods of time and watched the spiders spin their webs (not unusual since I spin and weave and watching the spiders, one gets an inkling of how the first 'spinners' came to figure this out--the Navajo, for instance, refer to 'Spider Woman' and spinning and weaving are a large part of their culture). One wonders where these particular spiders disappeared to--probably nocturnal. This is also a very very good shot, but the other is so extraordinary, Alpha. Diane
