You can also make a prop head by creating a transparency map for the V3 head to fade at the neck and parent that to the V4 head scaled down to fit within it. In the past I have made a V3 head only by exporting the head as an .obj then importing it as a prop then making it a figure again by taking it to the Set-up Room... then it can take the V3 MATposes and morphs if you use MorphManager to transfer over the V3 Morph Channels you can use the V3 morphs. You could spawn the character morphed head and then you would need only to load expressions on your prop head from the V3 SEA with MorphManager.... you could also just apply the full V3 .cr2 in set-up room I guess if you want all the empty morph channels for injection. I just use the V4 eyes by translating them into position in the V3 Prop Head rather than trying to use the V3 eyes... Dimension3D has a free script for unhiding dials. For that matter Dimension3D has these great unimesh mapped prop eyes if you don't like the V4 eyes. You can usually fudge the textures by changing the diffuse base color or diffuse value on the prop head to match the body but a better way would be to cut a sample from the V4 head texture and float that over the V3 head texture as a guide in adjusting the values and hue to match the V4 body in your image editer. My real opinion though is that you just stick with your V3 unless you are desperate for some V4 clothes.
