Quote - what does it take for an item to get back to the regular marketplace (amount of purchases?)

I am not a staff member, but I know the answer to this question. Once an item hits clearance, it is never returned to the main marketplace. It will stay in clearance until the vendor requests it's deletion or until it is deleted from lack of sales.
