uhm.. You can't do booleans inside Poser. And Poser doesn't always like booleans in the first place. Some import just fine, others import with invisible-until-rendertime-facets. Generally it's a good idea not to use booleans with Poser stuff.
But then again that would require some sort of modeler in the first place, which Poser is not. It's a program for posing and placing premade stuff :)
Just making it clear in case it wasn't obvious :) I've seen a few people thinking they could make models inside Poser. You can combine things out of primitives, Dr.Geep has shown us all how - but Poser isn't a modeler.
A good, and affordable modeler is Hexagon, sold at Daz3D. And of course there are free ones like WinGS and Blender.
