Number of polygons has no importance for memory, it only affect the rendering time.
Even if you use 128 bytes per polygon it gives 13M for a 100,000 polygons mesh.
I don't know how efficient is Poser internally, probable bad. In theory the important thing should be the number and size of the textures. The same texture applied to 100 objects should use the memory of only one texture.
