Emperor, Maybe if you attached the shackles to the wall with a chain the figure it would add a more realistic reason for her painful pose. I think the textures you used on both the hand and the figure are interesting, maybe not what I would use on these particular figures but I can think of a couple of other things I could use them on :)Where did you get the background texture from, it somehow looks familiar.
