not very hard at all.. I use the Transposer, the plugin for Carrara. Some people hate the Transposer and use the Native Import but like because it keeps the morphs etc. intact. Just moves really slow... everyone has their own workflow though... all about results.

I usually create/save the characters in Poser (complete with animations) then:

• launch Carrara Pro 6
• create a New file (File > New)
• Then go to File > Import
• Locate my Poser file
  * Import as either 'Native Import' or 'Transposer'

Depending on which one you use you may have to adjust the size of the character a bit. Not sure why you wouldn't see the character.. unless their overall size was set to like 1 (out of 100)
