Using the Custom option in the Save Pose Preset dialog, users can selectively record any parameters of their choosing to a Pose Preset.

Try that-of course that is if what you want saved is the fiddling OF the skeleton instead of the entire SKELETON in it's fiddled pose/settings/parameters.
