Quote - I was one of those people who used both programs upt until D/S 2.0; then had so many problems that I got disgusted with D/S and didn't reinstall after my computer melt down. I asked here because I thought many people do, in fact, switch off between both applications.
I do post at the Daz forums from time to time; I posted here because I thought I'd get a more unbiased opinion. Over there it's Poser stinks; D/S is better at everything. Perhaps I'm really affraid that they will revoke my Plantinum Club Membership if I say anything bad about Studio.I really think that there is really no threat that Daz will stop creating Poser content; it's a lot of their market and after all the base D/S has always been free. I think it far more likely that you will eventually have to choose to buy a Daz version or a Poser version of something as both programs evolve in different directions.
Am I the only one who hates the way these Generation 4 figures conforming clothes don't conform properly? I liked it better when morphs were not controlled completely by magnets; there seemed to be few rigging problems. I don't know, perhaps it's just me.
Yes M4 does have a scaling bug, but it does not have anything to do with Poser as you can see in these three videos from phantom3D
Life is hard, but what a ride.
