I am having so much fun with P8, no problems, and quite stable. But I am not running a Mac, I have heard that many of the Snow Leopard owners are having problems.  But considering how new that version of Mac is the team very likely had little time to test it.

To the Op: By all means please return it, I am sure D/S will suit you.
