I ran Vue 6 on a laptop for over 6 months (was waiting on this machine to arrive... my bro took his time building/shipping it LOL)... it did fine on the laptop, and it was a medium-range laptop, dual-processor, 1 gig memory (or a bit less, cant remember - i know it ended up with 2 gigs memory by the end of everything).  I had no problems at all other than a bit of flickering in the screen (due to the video card - pay CLOSE attention to the video card recommendations)

i suggest an external mouse. =D
