This wouldn't bother me if this was the way things are done. Add eco layers, populate later. But we rae not used to this behaviour, it wasn't like this in Vue6, and I haven't seen it mentioned that things had changed in Vue7.
As I said, it's not always a problem, but sometimes, it can be frustrating.
