Yes, I clicked the 'continue" button. That's how I get the 'cookie's' statement. I click it and it reloads, telling me that I need to have cookies enabled to enter the site. I downloaded Firefox as TrekkieGrrrl said and I got on. So, for now anyway, the problem is solved.
