Pjotter, sorry but I'm not clear about what Daz had missed? Just to be completely clear, when I said that nothing about video production is easy I meant it in general. If you are involved with any video production, regardless of the tools, you will need to get into a seriously steep learning curve. Studio is actually a very decent software, especially for free.  BTW, are you able to generate the video as a sequence as suggested?
