Subject: Catalina Shoe Conversion.

I'm making an online comic but I've been using Aiko 3 (she was the standard along with V3 when I started 70 pages ago.)

I want to buy the Catalina Shoes and use them for Aiko 3 but I was worried about conversion.  It has a lot of morphs and being a cr2 file, it just won't conform properly.

If I buy the shoes, fit them to the figure without conforming them, export them back as an obj, take them into the setup room for fitting, will I be able to use the morphs (some 80 morphs for style and fits)?

I know from experience that I'll be able to change the colors with the various MAT files that come with the shoes but the real bonus is the different styles.

Am I shooting for the moon or working too hard for this?  Help or opinions are welcome.

Thanks!!

PhilC has a shoe converter. I don't have it but I've heard that it does a  good job at converting shoes from one figure to another.

Thanks for replying acadia.  I still don't know if I'll be able to use the morphs and I didn't wish to pay 30 bucks in order for Aiko to wear shoes that cost 8.  That's not too cost effective!

Ahhh!! But you are looking at it as a one time use.  Phil's conversion programs extend your runtime library and ultimately saves you money in the long run.  Instead of buying shoes for each of your figures, or worrying about wanting shoes for a particular figure and only being able to find them for a different one, you can simply use the conversion program to convert whatever shoes to whatever figure you want.  So your figures can share their shoes.
