I don't think it is a resourceproblem because then the render should show the final mesh...??
My specs are:
Q8400 core2 quad @ 2.66 Ghz
3.00 GB
Nvidea GTX 7900
Vue 7 xStream
Here is a screenshot from the export options of blender. As i dit say earlier, i tried exporting a mesh object in the .obj format and that worked fine...
