Just install Poser in a NON DEFAULT location and Bob's your uncle. Installing anything in Vista under Program Files is asking for problems. Install Poser to C:3D... or whatever drive you have available (substitute the 3D for anything you'd like of course)
Also consider disabling UAC - it's more bother than help IMO.
