I try to suggest that people use one of the monitor calibration pics available on the web to check brightness and contrast on their monitors. A lot of work on my screen looks very cery dark to the point of being  Oh, its a black bear in a cave  :) 

Your gallery looks OK on my screen . 

The monitor calibration issue has been discussed before , it makes it very hard to know what the artists intentions were, unlike a print.
