If P8 was an expanded version of Poser Pro, then what would P8 Pro be? Your questions are illogical. P8 is what they say it is, and it is an upgrade from P7. If you like/need the capability of Poser Pro, and want to upgrade, then you wait for the upgrade to Poser Pro, which is not P8.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
