hborre, remember that essentially the worm is untextured so to give it coloring you can go to the materials room and either use procedural textures - or you can hunt some nice organic textures down on the net in jpeg, png, or bitmap format ( sic. Public domain) and use those as shaders to. That's what I've been up to.
