Thanks for the suggestions. I'm currently at work, while the simulation is running at home. I'll let you know if it works.
I did not check collision detection for the bodyparts before, just in the hair room.

Also I noticed that the hair simulation starts with draping. However, even if all the guide hairs are down (I set the dial for pull down to 1) when it starts draping, some of the hairs jump up and then slowly fall down.
Any way to fix this?
