Subject: Windows 7 and .OBJ files

I've been told at a windows 7 seminar that windows 7's XP mode is actually a virtual machine running XP, just for your XP app, so any XP app should work in XP mode.

Maybe its due to the nature of this solution that it handles files differently.. having to push them safely through into your virtual winXP machine..

You could check the associations for .obj files, maybe another program then bryce is selected as the preferred program to open .obj files?

Or maybe you've got hidden extensions on/off and that might cause problems? Maybe theres a double extension? or no extension at all?

The length of the file path may also cause problems, in winxp i think its not allowed to be longer then 256 characters or such.
