Ohhh!  Got it.  I've heard of them, but we don't have roe deer here.  We have deer, just a different kind.  They can be a big pest!  My sister-in-law lives in the country, and has a double fence around her garden.  Here's a picture of how she has the fence.  The outside fence is full height, but the inside fence only has mesh along the top, saving labor and money (it doesn't need to go all the way to the ground).  The deer won't jump this ... but the two parts have to be a certain distance from each other.   Too close together, and the deer will still jump.  Too far apart, and they'll just jump twice!

I don't think this counts as something odd!  LOL!  It's just a deer fence.  Sorry to co-opt the thread for this ...
