just install it to say C:posersPoser 7 and it'll work just fine. (I've heard that Vista and Win7 don't like things being written to Program Files ad hoc as a security measure. I've seen some evidence of this, and since poser does not have to go in Program Files at all... (infact very very few things have to be installed in the program files...))

I've run Poser's 5 6 7 and Pro just fine on Windows 7 64 here. I just uninstalled 5/6/7 to stick with Pro actually...

the only software I've had problems with are Mechcommander and Mechwarrior 3... but thats only due to them being ancient.

everything else I've thrown at Win7's worked fine.
