Hollywood is great, any hero knows how to fly a flying-saucer and any kid can hack a Klingon defense computer.
The problem is that militars and politicians believe that all the Hollywood crap is reality and buys all the marvelous and expensive useless and fantasy toys sold by profit over profit greedy companies, meantime soldiers are dying, who cares, the function of a soldier is to die, the country bankrupts and citizens that believe in Hollywood too, pay all the costs.
